Of all the legacies of the British colonial period, the game of cricket is probably held dearest by the average Sri Lankan. As in India and Pakistan, cricket is undoubtedly king in the Sri Lankan sporting pantheon. After many years of underdog status, Sri Lanka finally entered the limelight of the cricketing world after winning the 1996 Cricket World Cup .  Sri Lanka also became the co-champions in 2002 ICC Champions Trophy and also became six times Asian champions in 1986, 1997, 2004, 2008, 2014 and 2022. This beyond the border synergy helps them take active interest in not only making new friends but can teach valuable life lessons about perseverance, teamwork, focus, and resilience, emphasizing the importance of learning from mistakes and celebrating both victories and setbacks. In our pursuit to encourage boys aged 14- 17 years, we at Adventure World have curated “Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka” so that either the rookie or enthusiastic school students can participate with School Students / Local Clubs of similar age group while experiencing the vibrant culture & traditions.
