Day 01 : Arrive Ranthambhore

Upon arrival at Sawai Madhopur Train Station, you will be met & transferred to your hotel in Ranthambhore

One of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India, it gets its name from the thousand-year-old fortress, which looms above the forest skyline. Once considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, today the Ranthambore National Park terrain is a major wildlife tourist attraction that has drawn the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers. Ranthambore is situated between the Aravalli and Vindhya ranges, dotted with water pools and fruit trees. Well known for the diurnal activity of tigers, Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past. Sambar, cheetal, chinkara, nilgai and languor make their home here.

Today morning we take you to the Jeep safari to explore the Tribal villages of Devpura to spot the blackbucks and other antelopes (not found inside the park). After the tour return to your hotel, relax and overnight at Hotel.

Village Devpura is a home to the beautiful Black Buck, Devpura is approx.14 km from Sawai Madhopur. The blackbuck is the only living species of the genus  Antelope. Males and females have distinctive coloration. Male blackbucks are dark brown, black, and the belly and  eye rings are white and have long twisted horns, while females are fawn-coloured (light-brown) with no horns. Search the rural village area for these antelopes that roam freely. They are not found in the National Park. They generally live on open plains in herds of 15 to 20 animals with one dominant male. They are very fast. Speeds of more than 80 km/h (50 mph) have been recorded. Their chief predator was the now extinct Indian cheetah. They are now sometimes preyed upon by wolves and stray dogs. The diet of the blackbuck consists mostly of grasses. The maximum life span recorded is 16 years and the average is 12 years. During the drive to village Devpura for black buck you can take a chance to see idle village life and culture.

Today morning we pickyou from your hotel and transfer to Sawai Madhopur Train Station to connect your onward Train.
