Architectural ingenuity of ancient rock-cut buildings, the Ajanta and Ellora Caves are some of the most fascinating caves, carved out of rocks on the steep side of Sahyadri Hills by master artists & highly skilled craftsmen.
Ajanta is almost exclusively a place of Buddhist art, Ellora is a unique combination of Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain art. The Ajanta Caves are famous for elaborate paintings and carvings that tell the story of the Buddha and his preaching. While Ellora has been a microcosm of the diverse Indian civilization with both Hindu caves which portray the god Shiva and other deities, and Jain caves which depict the philosophy of monks & non-violence.

On arrival at Aurangabad (New Name Sambhaji Nagar) located in western state of Maharashtra, you will be met by our representative who will help you take a transfer to your pre-booked hotel. On arrival check in to your hotel and relax.
After breakfast, drive towards the star attraction Ajanta Caves. Ajanta Caves is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which houses 30 rock-cut Buddhist Caves. The caves have beautiful paintings and sculptures which are rightly called the Buddhist masterpieces.
After sightseeing around the place, on the way you can also visit the Taj of Deccan – The Bibi Ka Maqbara– bears a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal, the mausoleum of Aurangzeb’s mother, Mumtaz Mahal, which is why it is also called the Taj of the Deccan.
Later drive back to the hotel & Have a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, depart for sightseeing tour to visit the famous Ellora Caves with Grishneshwar Temple one of the 12 Jyotierlinga and Daulatabad Fort. Ellora Caves is one attraction which represents the spectacular workmanship behind its exquisite carving and paintings. The caves also reflect the religious harmony during the 5th to 11th century in India. Also visit Daulatabad Fort built by the Yadavas. Later return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Today morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Aurangabad Airport to connect onward Flight.
